Hi Bill,
I got a call from Bonnie Miller last Sunday about the reunion in Oct. and
she pointed me to your Web page. She said she found me on the
Internet but I'm not sure how? I looked at your page last night and it
brought back a lot of memories. Most of them good. I read the write-up
on our football team in 1958. It doesn't seem like it has been 40 years.
Have you kept up with many people from of our class? It looked like you
had been active in the past reunions. Do you know who all will be at the
this year's reunion?
By the way I live in Grand Prairie just outside of Dallas and understand
that there may be several of us in Texas. You can reach me at
"joec@amtech.com". I work for the company that does the automatic toll
collection on Toll Roads in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
It would be good to hear from you.

Hi Bill!
It looks lilke we should have a great time at the reunion. I can't
believe we are getting that old. Are you sure it has been 40 years?
I may have a conflict for the October weekend. The Missouri Association
of Realtors are holding the 1998 convention in Branson October 6-9. I
will need to attend for continuing education as well as helping as a
member of the Convention Committee.
Since I am self employed, it is sometimes difficult for me to be away for
very long. I generally try to take short trips. However, it would be
great to be able to spend some time at my step mother's house and see so
many old friends again, then drive over to Branson from there.
On another note, I love your web site! I remember you talking about your
business at the last reunion. What a great company. Then to find you
have Winfield news as well. I was especially interested in the Cherokee
Strip site. My grandfather Moon and his brother participated. Uncle
Rufus stayed in Oklahoma and Laben came back to Kansas. I don't think
either of them were able to claim land. They said that much of the land
was marked before the actual run started.
I haven't used the web for much more than business needs. I have the
listings for Heritage House Realty on our site so people can get a idea
of our properties before they get to Kirksville. I intend to check out
more of the information you have at your site. It's great.
Again, I will try to come if I can and I will send in my info sheet in.
If I come, however, I will stay with family and not need a room. (The
room sounds great, but I don't think I would have a choice.)

I am looking forward to seeing my classmates at the
reunion. I have just returned to this area from Farmington,
NM.
While there, my husband Mike Smith (Class of 1957)
and I created a Web page "Four Corners Postcard."
We have been getting reacquainted with Winfield
and are getting ready to move there as soon as we find
employment and a house.
At this time we are still at Smileyberg remodeling
with the goal of Mike's family reopening the store.
We are expecting our first great-grandson in December.
Where does the time fly?
        See you there,
                Sheilah (Feeler) Smith

(from Bonnie Mountain Miller)
Dear Classmate:

The 40 year reunion of the Winfield High School Class of 1958 is history now.

Those of you that attended know there were several classmates that attended their first reunion this year. Two classmates that were re-united were Gloria (Davis) Farley and Gib Overby. They wanted me to let you all know that they will be married in Lubbock Texas on Valentines Day. They will be living in Monteagle, Tennessee after the 14th.

I am requesting a card or e-mail shower for them. If you would like to send congratulations please do so by the 14th.
Isn't this the perfect ending to a great reunion.
Happy Valentines Day!
