Window Rock Navajo Traditional Dancers

A visit to Window Rock, Arizona and the NAVAJO NATION is always full of beauty and color. The dancers in these photos are Navajo families and friends. Grandfathers and Grandmothers dance with each other or grandchildren. This is a way the young people learn from them.

Listening to the music and sharing their happiness as they dance is worth all the miles and then some from Oklahoma to Arizona! Not to mention the mutton and corn stew and fry bread served at the Window Rock Fourth of July Fair and Rodeo!
