Austin 3d Users Group Meeting at ITT Technology Center 6330 Highway 290 East Suite 150, Austin, TX 78723

Jon Roberts, a graduate of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) will show us his techniques for Camera Projection and Scene Compositing.

And Johnathon Vought and Jeremy Ward will show some of the visual effects they have done with Syntheyes ( a camera tracking and stabilization system. This program allows you to match-move your shot and composite you animation into a live scene. This kind of visual effects has been done by high end studios but can now be done by most Max and Maya users.

If you are an Architect and you want to show your Idea sitting in place in downtown Austin, with people going in and out the doors and cars moving by outside and the afternoon sun reflecting off the windows, this is the technology that you need know. A lot of you have asked about doing this camera-matching stuff and here is your chance to find out how it is done.
