Pat Carmichael, Head of R&D for HKS Inc, will be showing their latest version of ArchEngine, Archengine is a real time engine specifically built for holding extremely large scenes with massive amounts of geometry. Over the last year, real time engines have seen great advancements in lighting, textures, and geometry thresholds. ArchEngine was first built as an Architectural Visualization tool, but is now branching out into a variety of other uses. Come hear Pat talk about where Advanced Real Time engines are and will be headed in the future. This is the new state of the art of the technology that Pat first showed us at our May 28, 2008 meeting at ACC that showed us the new Texas Stadium before it was built.
The rest of the meeting will be casual as last time. With a mix of visiting and showing and telling. Bring you stuff. Show it off.
